Literature Text

I'm trusting you to hold me,
And never let me down
'Cause falling out of love
At this volume,
Would be like leaving me to drown.

You can have me,
Interminally,
But I want you always.
I'm greedy for your love,
But I'd never make you stay.

I'd turn and walk away myself,
Before I could bear to hear you leave.
My own tears would drown out your footsteps,
You will always be my everything.

Interesting how you call this piece Reality... I find that stunningly beautiful, in a way. Refreshing, if you will.
This piece breaks flow at a few points (3rd stanza, But I want you always.I'm greedy for your love, But I'd never make you stay.---- the use of but was distracting, BUT it was not a train wreck).
This piece did not break my heart.... but I do not think that was what you intended here. No.... you told us how it was, the cold hard truth. The reality of it. This is how it is, and if you do not like it.. too bad. You can not change reality, even as it bends itself in attempts to change you.
Not perfect, but a good job.
